A vida nos guarda pequenas surpresas. Algumas vezes é uma coisa rotineira e que pode passar despercebida, como por exemplo, o filme que passou na Tela Quente na rede Globo ontem à noite. É uma comédia, nem é um filme famoso, nunca ouvi falar dele e eu nem conhecia a atriz principal: Queen Latifah (puxa, que nome que deram para ela, "rainha Latifah"). Eu só conhecia o Gérard Depardieu,que apareceu como um cozinheiro do hotel. Na hora eu já pensei "ele não pode ser só um cozinheiro de hotel, o cara é muito famoso para isso". E depois ele realmente teve um papel mais importante no desenvolver da história. É um tipo de filme que dá para a gente sentar e ficar filosofando sobre ele. Mas o filme superou as expectativas. Esse filme gerou em mim uma humildade e uma gratidão diante da capacidade artísticas das pessoas. Fiquei pensando na quantidade de gente que trabalhou fazendo aquele filme e fiquei surpreso pelos questionamentos despretenciosos que o filme fez. Esse filme fez bem para mim.

Life keeps us small surprises. Sometimes it's a routine thing and that may go unnoticed, such as the movie that came on the screen in Globo Television Net last night. It's a comedy, nor is a famous movie, I never heard of it and I even did not know the lead actress: Queen Latifah ("Queen"? Is it her true name?). I just knew Gérard Depardieu, who appeared as a hotel cook. At the time I thought "He can not be just a hotel cook, the guy is very famous for this." And then he actually had a greater role in developing the story. It is a kind of film that move us to sit and philosophize about it. The film exceeded expectations. This film generated in me a humility and an appreciation of artistic ability. I thought about the amount of people who worked making that movie and was surprised by the unpretentious questions that the film raized. This film has done well for me.
